About Us

Percy Williams and Sons Ltd is a family company based in Redruth, which has been trading for three generations. In the small communities of West Cornwall it would be impossible to have traded successfully for such a long period without very many satisfied customers along the way. Much of our business comes from personal recommendation and from our reputation as an established and accessible company.

The company is run by Simon Williams, Percy Williams’ grandson, who joined the company in 1978 as a director, taking over from his father Leonard a few years later . Other family members take a keen interest in the activities of the business.

Alan Hobson, originally from Canada, is the company secretary and takes care of much of the day-to-day management of Percy Williams & Sons Ltd and their property portfolio. New home sales are managed locally by Jerry Harper, who has been involved in property sales throughout Cornwall for nearly 25 years.

Established in the 1920’s and incorporated in 1930 Percy Williams takes pride in providing a quality product and good old fashioned personal service. We are committed to giving you, as our purchaser, the very best after sales service. This extends beyond the initial warranty periods and is managed from our head office in Redruth.
