We have watched with interest the recent announcements from the Government concerning the Eco-towns that are to be developed. Four sites have now been ear-marked: Rackheath in Norfolk; north west Bicester in Oxfordshire; Whitehill Bordon in East Hants and more local to us the China Clay Community near St Austell in Cornwall. The Lofts (the smaller of the two refurbished hospital buildings at Gweal Pawl) offers the chance to buy a live/work home from well under £130,000. Three of the lofts are now sold with a choice of 4 remaining life style opportunities still available, for example Loft 4 (our current sales/reception point) has a spacious double entrance and a top floor 1 bedroom apartment with a fabulous velux balcony set into vaulted ceilings. If you have ever fancied working from home perhaps the Lofts might be worth further consideration. |
