Beating those Winter Temperatures

Having one of the coldest winters many of us can remember has not affected our residents at Fairglen.  In some areas in West Cornwall the temperatures dipped with the mercury showing an unusual -8.   We have found the geothermal heat pumps and under floor heating has come into its own in these eco heated houses.

At number 14, believing it might not perform as a ‘conventional system’, Michael tells us that he actually needed to reduce the thermostat as it was too hot! Such is the level of efficiency with this ‘Free’ heating and hot water system that it seems unlikely to be required at capacity.

Great news for our residents in keeping warm and keeping their bills to a minimum.
