Several changes that effect buyers decisions at the moment include the looming reintroduction of stamp duty for properties over £125,000 and the pending threat of VAT being reintroduced to at least 17.5% which will have a real effect on the cost of both furnishings, white goods and of course legal fees. This seems to be focusing purchasers including investors to snap up a bargain.
At Gweal Pawl Redruth there is now a provisional reservation on Loft 3 leaving just three stylish and highly-mortgageable attic apartments with ground floor live/work style work rooms from well under £130,000 and within an ace of being Stamp Duty Free. Having reduced all prices on the remaining homes, it is expected that the last 3 bedroom house (£159,950) will proceed and there have been a number of tentative offers made on the last 1 bedroom Edwards Apartment (13) priced at £99,250. There remain a number of incentives still available until 15th September. |
